Not at all. Please feel free to call if you need help or information about something.
The documentation that came with your equipment either on CD or in book form are terrific references, but please feel free to contact us if you need assistance.
Those are “Toner Pirates” (aka Scammers). We never call to sell toner to customers on our maintenance agreement program. Office Service, Inc. has absolutely no connections with those scams.

Display Messages
You should never ignore them. If there is ever any question about what the messages mean, please contact us.
The “wrench” indicates that the equipment has a condition preventing it from operating and you should call us. Normally we can help you clear those over the phone.
This message is shown with the “wrench” and also should show a service code. If a service code is not displayed, simply press the “C” and “8” simultaneously and one should appear in the display.
Not at all. The message means that the equipment lost power or was powered off without going through the proper shutdown sequence. Pressing the “FUNCTION CLEAR” button twice will clear this message.
Don’t worry, nothing is wrong. This is a counter-based message but don’t ignore it. Please let us know so that we can keep your equipment in top running condition.
User Care & Maintenance
You should clean the narrow glass to the side of the main platen glass. Correction fluid is often the culprit in this situation.
Any commercial glass cleaner and a soft cloth works best.
Do not overspray. It’s best to just put some cleaner on the cloth and wipe the glass.
You should operate your equipment within the parameters and procedures shown in the operator manuals. If the paper jam is not easily removable then please call us for assistance.
Don’t “dig around inside” on your own. Things tend to get broken with this approach. Please call for service on your equipment.
Please contact us so that we can investigate the issue further.
Multifunction devices are a major investment of your money. Slamming or yanking on things out of frustration are the most frequent causes of damage. There will likely be a charge to replace broken items.
What was the problem “last time”? In order to better serve you and your equipment, we ask that you be as specific as possible each time when placing service requests.
Intermittent problems are the among the hardest to solve. If we can catch the issue when it actually happens, then we can fix it.
There is no need to panic. That’s just a warning to make sure that you have an extra toner on hand for when you do run out.
No! Please wait until “Replace Toner Cartride” is shown.
The developer has been depleted of toner and the machine is just replenishing the developer with toner. This also indicates that you should make sure to have an extra toner on hand.
Replace the equipment’s toner cartridge (with Genuine Toshiba or Lexmark toner) in accordance to the operator’s manual instructions. Festive “Toner Dances” will not replenish toner with Toshiba or Lexmark equipment.
You should only follow the appropriate actions that are shown in the operator’s manual. If it’s more complicated than what is in there then you should contact us.
